The author is a Shropshire lad.
He attended Goldsmiths College in London, studying Speech and Drama.
While there he wrote a one act play which won the London University One Act Play Festival and went on to win the South East England Festival.
For many years writing had to take second place to providing for his family.
When he retired from teaching he began to write again, including a full length play, produced locally, a story read on the radio and several prize winning poems.
He has written two contemporary crime novels, 'A Perfect Alibi'' and 'Murder on the Moss'
published by Leaf by Leaf,
and an historical crime novel 'Wicked Harvest' published by Pegasus.
'Stolen Valley' was intended to be the second novel in a trilogy but reads perfectly well on its own. It is not a crime novel.
